REPORTS TO: Project Department Manager

SUMMARY:

Grandeur Housing is seeking an experienced, self-sufficient 3-4 person setup and service crew for an outgoing sub-contracting partnership. This role involves completing the final setup, finishing touches, and warranty punch-list items for our delivered homes across MB, SK, and ON. This is an ideal opportunity for an established carpentry or exterior finishing crew that enjoys traveling and wants steady, reliable hourly work with zero out-of-pocket overhead.

SCOPE OF WORK:

This scope varies by project but generally includes:

• Structural & Exterior. Removal or roof tarps, construction of entry landings, decks, and permanent stairs, and exterior finishing (including siding, soffit, and fascia installation).
• Interior Finishes. Installation of send-along materials (shower doors, barn doors, light shades, skirting packages), adjusting interior/cabinet doors for proper function, and unpacking appliances.
• Drywall & Repair. Minor cosmetic drywall and ceiling crack repairs
• Safety & Prep. Installing smoke detectors on pre-installed bases and installing prefabricated temporary stairs.

CREW REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must operate as an established crew of 3-4 people
• Certifications. Valid working at heights training is a necessity for all crew members. If your crew is not currently certified, a firm willingness to attain it immediately is required (training costs will be 100% covered by Grandeur).
• Must supply your own reliable truck, tool trailer, and standard construction tools (specialized Grandeur-supplied equipment can be discussed).
• Willingness to travel extensively across western and central Canada.
