Service Technician

A Service Technician is required to use hand tools, air tools, and power tools to perform all required warranty repairs and to fully adhere to safety compliance regulations.

Reports to: 

Warranty/Service Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate hand tools, air tools, and power tools
• Ensure all required tools and supplies are available prior to the start of each job
• Regular maintenance and care for Warranty truck, trailer, and tools
• Communicate information between the customer and Warranty/Service Manager
• Perform all warranty repairs according to work orders
• Perform basic setups as required
• Perform work in production as required
• Follow all workplace safety policies, and compliance regulations
• Keep the work area organized and clean

Skills & Knowledge:

• General building principles and tool knowledge
• Interior Finishing experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of standard measurements
• Blueprint literate
• Able to project a positive attitude
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as a team

Work Conditions:

• Physical ability to lift 50lb
• Able to operate air and power tools
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Able to work at heights
• Able to climb ladders, stairs, etc.
• Able to travel, on overnight trips of up to four nights per week
• Overtime as required
