Accounting Administrator

Grandeur is a growing company looking for an individual to join our team as an Accounting Administrator.

REPORTS TO: Corporate Controller

SUMMARY:

The Accounting Administrator plays a critical role within the office. They are responsible for many of the day-to-day accounting functions and monthly remittances that the company must file. They also play a key role in administering payroll for all office staff bi-weekly, always keeping confidentiality of personal and corporate information at the forefront of their mind.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Office staff payroll administration
  • Customer invoicing
  • Accounts receivable
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Sales Tax, WCB, Blue Cross, and payroll tax remittances

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Business Central, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, accounts receivable management, and general accounting principles.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with government remittance processes.

WORK CONDITIONS:

  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
  • Able to sit for extended periods
